How much does marketing really cost you today?
If your marketing isn’t effective, you and your sales team are missing out on opportunities. It’s impacting your bottom line. If you’ve ever tried to manage your own marketing, you probably learned the hard way it’s more difficult than you thought. There’s the lost revenue, but also the stress of wearing too many hats and spreading yourself too thin.
When done right, marketing pays for itself.
The average mid-sized business spends up to 10% of their revenue on marketing [1]. How do they afford it? Every marketing dollar they spend returns more than a dollar profit. But getting consistent results typically requires a team: a strategist, copywriter, graphic designer, web developer, SEO specialist, and ad specialist. This gets expensive, quickly.
What if you could grow your marketing team without the cost (and risk) of hiring everyone in-house?

The First Step: Your Marketing Blueprint
As an essential strategic first step, you’ll work with your CMO, me, to develop your Marketing Blueprint. Together, we’ll identify your ideal customers, refine your messaging, and set actionable growth objectives. The Marketing Blueprint process sets you up for success.
This initial short-term collaboration also allows you to work closely with your CMO and determine if you’re a good fit for each other. The Blueprint takes 6 weeks to complete and starts at $5,000 (one-time).

Frequently Asked Questions
I believe in marketing living within the organization, and not being outsourced to agencies or external providers. My ultimate goal will be to make your business self-sufficient when it comes to marketing. We will achieve that by building systems and procedures and recruiting an operational team that can be the voice of marketing inside the company. Before we reach this stage, we might need help along the way to help us implement some of the marketing tactics that will be part of our strategy. For that, I can introduce you to the SEO and SEA specialists, editorial content specialists, designers, web developers, CRM experts, etc, I work with and see if they are a good fit for your needs.
The Marketing Blueprint is a marketing strategy and detailed growth plan developed over the course of 30 days.
Deliverables:
-
- Weekly Calls – We’ll have 30-90 minute calls on Zoom, each week covering a different topic.
-
- Competitor Analysis – I’ll investigate your rivals’ online strategies, strengths, and weaknesses to identify opportunities for you to stand apart.
-
- Buyer Personas – Using your current customer data, I’ll create profiles of your ideal prospects so we know who they are, who they are not.
-
- Customer Narrative – We’ll work together with you to clarify your brand voice and make your copy appealing to your ideal prospects.
-
- Pitch Script – I’ll work with my native English-speaking writers to create targeted pitches, that can be used for your website, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
-
- SEO Strategy – I’ll work with my SEO specialists and deliver a report that reveals gaps and opportunities in your SEO strategy, and helps you publish content your customers are really searching for.
-
- Website Strategy – I’ll create a redesign guide for your website that addresses the gaps and opportunities revealed in the SEO Analysis.
Yes, absolutely! I would even say that you are meant to move across tiers over time.
At the start of the relationship, as your marketing leader, my main objective will be to build your marketing system and organization from the inside. That means developing the strategy, recruiting resources (internal or external), bringing everyone up to speed, and leading them in executing our strategy. This will be a very work-intensive step that will require me to dedicate almost half of my time to your account.
As systems and people are in place, I will downgrade to more of a coaching role and make sure we don’t deviate from our strategy by keep delivering effective and highly targeted campaigns.
As new and permanent marketing leadership comes on board (new full-time marketing director or CMO role), I can be there as your trusted marketing advisor to provide feedback and advice so you and your marketing team stay headed in the right direction.
Each level of engagement comes at a specific monthly rate and when the time comes, we will discuss together if it makes sense to downgrade from one tier to another.
Absolutely not. If we enter into a Dedicated Marketing partnership, I will work to prove my value each and every month. The first project we will undertake together is the Marketing Blueprint. It lasts 4 to 6 weeks on average. Once I deliver the blueprint to you, we will have a debrief meeting and discuss what is the next logical step in your new marketing strategy journey.
Running and optimizing an advertising campaign is a job on its own. As much as I know about SEO and SEA, I am no ads specialist.
If running ads proves to be relevant to our inbound marketing strategy, I will recommend agencies or ad specialists who have several certifications including Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads Search, Google Ads Display, and LinkedIn advertising.
As your marketing leader, I will be keeping an eye on the campaign reports to ensure they are performing and are aligned with our overall inbound marketing strategy and stay within our budget.
We don’t want to waste your money by directing visitors to a site that isn’t able to effectively capture leads. As part of the Marketing Blueprint, we’ll assess your current website: Is it consistently capturing leads? Does it demonstrate your differentiation in the market? Does it offer an organized and appealing experience for the user? How is its search performance?
If it checks all the boxes, we may not need to rebuild it. If we do, you’ll have ample opportunity to direct its design and make it a reflection of your brand and your personal tastes. The most important thing is that optimized for an inbound marketing strategy before we launch your marketing campaigns.
Every service is billed 100% up-front. However, only one month is billed at a time. The amount will depend on which stage of the process or on which tier you are.
Your first financial commitment will be your marketing blueprint, which starts at $5000 and last for 6 to 7 weeks. Paying it upfront means that I and all the specialists that will work on your blueprint can book you a spot in our schedule and dedicate resources accordingly.
Not at all, but your skepticism is reasonable.
You’ve probably encountered some sort of “marketing plan” or “roadmap” before. Maybe it was an automated report that didn’t provide any real value. Or perhaps you’ve received a proposal full of pages showing how great an agency is, to convince you to sign a 1-2 year contract.
My Marketing Blueprint isn’t a proposal, it isn’t an automated report, and it isn’t generic. Rather than pitching you services, the purpose of the Marketing Blueprint is to provide you with value from day one. It’s a marketing analysis, strategy, and plan that we’ll develop together to help you reach your goals. It will dive deep into your business, your company, your clients, your competitors, your online presence, your current gaps, and how we should address them.
Each week we’ll speak together about a specific topic, refine your strategy, and I’ll provide you with deliverables that you’ll benefit from, even if you don’t choose to hire me on an ongoing basis. The Blueprint will be unique to your business because we will create it through research and consultation.
If your brand messaging is on point and you already have buyer personas and a marketing strategy, that’s great! It will make the process even smoother. We’ll incorporate what you have and adapt your Blueprint as needed.
However, we won’t skip the Blueprint, because it’s a critical step in the process. While you know about your business, I need to make sure I get to know it as well, so we can market you effectively. It’s also a great opportunity to work on a first project together and make sure we are a right fit for each other before we move to larger scale projects.
